Last week, the Somali Region Journalist Association (SRJA) had the honor of hosting representatives from the International Republican Institute, Free Press Unlimited, and the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission at our office in Jigjiga.

During our discussions, we focused on the critical issues surrounding journalism, journalists’ rights, and human rights in the Somali region.
We are committed to continuing our advocacy for press freedom and the protection of journalists.
